چکیده
La diabetes mellitus es una patología metabólica que altera los niveles de glucosa en el cuerpo siendo más prevalente tipo II, lo cual puede llegar modular enfermedades sistémicas causando diferentes desordenes metabólicos y cambios celulares. En cuanto a las alteraciones oftalmológicas se pueden resaltar la retinopatía diabética ojo seco, donde definir última como condición inflamatoria crónica ocasionando daños superficie ocular. Por tanto, esta revisión brindará información factores asociados al desarrollo seco diabetes, resaltándose glicemia sobre metabolismo afectando estructuras glándula lagrimal, glándulas Meibomio, capa epitelial microvasculatura, generándose afecciones trastornos neuropáticos conducen sintomatología De igual modo, describen eventos biológicos son expresión epigenética, estrés oxidativo e inflamación presumiblemente juegan un papel importante Ojo Seco, por cual, evaluación análisis lágrima población hace necesaria
